Abstract (may include machine translation)
The Eucharist formed the visible boundary between Chalcedonians and non-Chalcedonians in the fifth and sixth centuries. Non-Chalcedonian texts emphasize the difference of the Eucharists, but this does not necessarily imply that it was a widely accepted view. This paper analyzes the understanding of the Eucharist among parish priests and the laity.
