Pour une analyse des idéologies du travail: le marxisme face à la psychodynamique du travail

When it comes to explaining the phenomena of consent and self-exploitation that characterize the neoliberal program of work, Marxist authors usually resort to the concept of ideology as defined by the set of dominant representations engendered at the level of society’s superstructures. Contrary to the thesis according to which our relation to work is determined first and foremost by ideas and provisionsacquired outside the process of work, this article lays the theoretical foundations for an analysis of the ideologies that characterize the activity of production basing itself on the work of Michael Burawoy and Christophe Dejours. Furthermore, it demonstrates that the discussion about the ideologies of work opens up a new space of dialogue between Marxism and psychoanalysis.
