Abstract (may include machine translation)

Excessive social situations, like the political crisis and war in the former Yugoslavia, produce important test cases for the study of the gendered aspects of citizenship rights. In this chapter, such a case will be studied from an intersectional point of view, taking into consideration issues of citizenship, gender, nationality, and moral responsibility as they are reflected in the works and personal experiences of contemporary woman writer Dubravka Ugrešic.1.
