Abstract (may include machine translation)
The dynamics of the rhythmic applause are clarified by recognizing two characteristic clapping modes of the individuals during the applause and by applying the results of the Kuramuto model. It is demonstrated that the rhythmic applause is formed by lowering the natural clapping frequency of each individual, thus lowering the clapping frequency distribution of the audience.
