Abstract (may include machine translation)
Peter the Iberian (ca. 417–491 CE) was the most prominent non-Chalcedonian bishop and holy man in fifth-century Palestine. He influenced the following generation of non-Chalcedonians, such as Severus of Antioch, Zachariah Rhetor, and John Rufus, who is probably the author of the Life of Peter the Iberian.
