Abstract (may include machine translation)
More recently, the study of social behaviour has increasingly become a multidisciplinary discipline. Human communication and relationships are increasingly of human interaction is taking place on digital systems (telephone, internet), for which a wealth of data is available. The pioneers in analysing this data, alongside sociologists, physicists, mathematicians and computer scientists have played a pioneering role in the field of sociology, as a number of techniques have been from graph theory, data mining and multi-agent modelling to statistical approaches.
