Abstract (may include machine translation)
In the previous issue of Castles, palaces, churches, an article was published summarising the monuments of Mecseknádasd, including the two castles near the village. Of these, the medieval fortress, now called Réka Castle, is often mentioned as the birthplace of St Margaret of Scotland. Legend or reality? That is the question this article seeks to answer, shedding light on an early chapter of Anglo-Hungarian relations alongside the castles.
