A 3 esküvő című dokumentumfilm-sorozat Magyarországon kötött vegyes házasságokról mesél. A három film személyes történeteken keresztül enged bepillantást három nem mindennapi kapcsolatba s ezeken keresztül a bevándorlás és az integráció belső folyamataiba. A filmeket három különböző rendező készítette. A szereplők és az alkotók egyéniségének különbözőségéből adódóan a filmek stílusa, hangulata, képi világa egyedi.
Elena több, mint húsz évvel idősebb fiatal kubai férjénél, Leonál. Kapcsolatukat mégsem a korkülönbség veszélyezteti - sokkal inkább az előítélet, a bürokrácia, s a bevándorlói lét mindennapos nehézségei.

The 3 Weddings documentary series tells the story of mixed marriages in Hungary. Through personal stories, the three films give an insight into three unusual relationships and the inner processes of immigration and integration. The films were made by three different directors. Due to the different personalities of the characters and the filmmakers, the films are unique in style, mood and imagery.
Elena is more than twenty years older than her young Cuban husband, Leo. Yet it is not the age difference that threatens their relationship - but rather prejudice, bureaucracy and the everyday difficulties of being an immigrant.
