Abstract (may include machine translation)
Gábor Herczegh Géza Herczegh (1928-2010) made a name for himself both at home and abroad as a legal scholar. For ten years, between 1993 and 2003, he was a member of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and in Hungary he also held positions as dean, constitutional judge and academic department president in Pécs. Public international law issues are, of course, central to his work (it is telling that Wikipedia is only aware of and publishes his writings).
