Many libraries are working to add or redesign facilities in order to accomodate hands-on instruction This paper describes the construction of two hands-on computer labs for library instruction at the University of Utah's Marriott Library It discusses flaws in existing training labs, and how those flaws were taken into consideration when building the new labs Costs associated with the project are covered, as well as specifications of furniture, computers, and projection equipment.
