Az emberi jogok esélye a közömbös társadalmakban

Az emberi jogok rendszere és megítélése válságban van. Ennek okai pl. a lista folyamatos bővülése, és az ezzel járó joginfláció, valamint egy paradigmaváltás: a sérülékenység mint emberi jogot megalapozó kritérium előtérbe kerülése. Mindez táptalajt ad a szuverenista populizmusnak, amely a népakarattal szembehelyezett önkényt lát az emberi jogokban. Ugyanakkor reményt ad, hogy a civilizációs értékek, vagy legalábbis a fogyasztási és életmódbeli szokások fenntartása az emberi jogok alapján szerveződő társadalmi integráció nélkül lehetetlen.

The human rights system and its perception is in crisis. The reasons for this are, for example, the constant expansion of the list and the resulting inflation of rights, and a paradigm shift: the emergence of vulnerability as a human rights criterion. All this provides a breeding ground for sovereign populists, who see human rights as an arbitrary act of arbitrariness in opposition to the will of the people. At the same time, it gives hope that it is impossible to maintain civilisational values, or at least consumption and lifestyle habits, without social integration organised on the basis of human rights.
