Abstract (may include machine translation)
A közösségi események akadálymentesítettsége is gyakran megoldatlan.
The research explores the barriers faced by students with disabilities studying at universities in Hungary. The study is based on an analysis of the legal environment and interviews with experts. The data was collected at the end of 2020. The research found that accessibility at universities is poor, so that it is often a problem for people with disabilities to get to seminars, the library or even compulsory practical training sites. Accessibility at community events is also often unresolved. There is a lack of accessible housing, e.g. properly adapted dormitories. Transport is also a problem for many people, as public transport in many university towns and cities is not adequately accessible. The research revealed that the majority of universities do not have accessibility plans that can be assessed by experts, or even an assessment of the accessibility of their building stock.
