Abstract (may include machine translation)
Jelen tanulmány a Der Prozess (A per. G.W. Pabst, 1947) című film kapcsán lezajlott vitáról szól. A filmet az osztrák G.W. Pabst rendezte a tiszaeszlári rituális gyilkossági perről. Pabst saját filmjét egyfajta penitenciának tekintette a nácizmus bűneiért.
This study examines the controversy surrounding the film *Der Prozess* (The Trial, dir. G.W. Pabst, 1947). The film, directed by the Austrian G.W. Pabst, is based on the Tiszaeszlár ritual murder trial. The film generated controversy, not only because its subject matter seemed too provocative in the aftermath of the Shoah, but also because the Austrian director, who had worked in the German film industry during the Nazi era, chose a Hungarian subject for his film about anti-Semitism. Pabst viewed his own film as a kind of penance for the crimes of Nazism.
