Abstract (may include machine translation)
Studied the effect of topic-focus structure on the processing of complex Hungarian sentences. Human subjects: 48 normal male and female Hungarian adults (mean age 24 yrs) (college students). An on-line naming task was used before and after the clause boundary to assess how the representation constructed from an initial clause varied with (1) topic-focus structure and (2) clause type.
