Bolba Márta a 8. kerület evangélikus lelkésze, szegények támogatója, a társadalmi egyenlőség mélységes híve. A Mandák Ház Józsefváros szegényebb negyedében található, de a lelkésznő gyülekezetébe a kerület gazdagabb részében, a Palotanegyedben található templom is hozzátartozik. Márta a hivatalban és az utcán véleményt formál, egyházában a szociálisan érzékeny elveket képviseli. Az általa vezetett közösség éppen ezért társadalmilag sokrétű. Szerdai vacsoráin a helyi lakók, környékbeli nincstelenek, menekültek, civil szervezetek képviselői egyaránt részt vesznek, kortól, vallási és politikai hovatartozástól függetlenül.
