Abstract (may include machine translation)
Lengyelország számos látványos kastéllyal büszkélkedhet, amelyek különböző korszakok építészetének kiemelkedő emlékei. A legismertebbek közé tartoznak a varsói wilanówi kastély, a lengyel királyok egykori nyári rezidenciája, vagy az ugyancsak a lengyel fővárosban található, vízre épült Lazienki palota. A sziléziai Moszna pedig olyan, mintha egy mesefilmbe illő tornyos kastélyt képzelnénk magunk elé. Kevéssé ismert ugyanakkor az ország keleti részén található Radzyń Podlaski váro-sának Potocki palotája, amely művészeti részletei és a hozzá kapcsolódó történeti események miatt kiemelkedő jelentőségű. A palota helyreállítása, új funkciójának kialakítása évtizedek óta folyik, és most egy európai örökségi programban is szerepet kapott az épület, amelyben magyar partner szervezetek is foglalkoznak az örökséghasznosítás kérdéseivel. Lengyelország ezen vidéke kevéssé ismert a turisták számára, pedig érdemes ide is ellátogatni a sok látnivaló és értékes műemlék miatt.
Poland boasts many spectacular castles, which are outstanding examples of architecture from different eras. Among the most famous are the Wilanów Castle in Warsaw, the former summer residence of Polish kings, and the Lazienki Palace, also in the Polish capital, built on water. And Moszna in Silesia is like a fairytale castle with a tower. Less well known, however, is the Potocki Palace in the eastern town of Radzyń Podlaski, which is notable for its artistic detail and the historical events that have taken place in its wake. The restoration of the palace and its new function have been ongoing for decades and the building has now been included in a European heritage programme involving Hungarian partner organisations working on heritage issues. This region of Poland is little known to tourists, but is well worth a visit for its many attractions and valuable monuments.
