Abstract (may include machine translation)
A szerző Magyarország EU-tagságának első évtizedét tekinti át összegző jelleggel, vagyis a nagyszámú, korábban közreadott részelemzés eredményeit ismertnek véve.
The author reviews the first decade of Hungary's membership of the EU in a summarising manner, i.e. by taking into account the results of the large number of previously published sub-analyses. After taking stock of the successes, missed opportunities and failures, the author takes stock without claiming completeness or finality. His basic insight is that Hungary has had and will have a much greater opportunity for sustainable development within the EU than if it were to move towards the 'wider outside' and approach the success of its foreign economic strategy by increasing its share of the non-European regions.
