Description

Solutions for urban equity and social inclusion
Many EU-funded projects have generated valuable knowledge and identified interventions related to societal challenges. The EU-funded UrbanA project synthesises and organises this knowledge in relation to urban injustice and unsustainability. The project supports city-makers in remodelling European cities into just and sustainable environments. UrbanA uses a transdisciplinary approach to map urban sustainability interventions, assess their potential to improve urban social equity and inclusion, and detect appropriate means and agents to transfer them across governance contexts. The UrbanA Community of Practice, a diverse group of city-makers, gathers in translocal urban arena events and online community conversations to learn, share and discuss solutions that are disseminated to key actors at local and European levels.
