    Research interests

    Zdravko Veljanov is a PhD candidate in comparative politics at the Central European University - Vienna, senior analyst at the Government Transparency Institute - Budapest, and visiting fellow at the Centre for Southeast European Studies - Graz. His doctoral project focuses on autocratization episodes in the post-Communist countries. In addition to autocratization and democratization, his research interests also include corruption, ethnic parties, elections and voting behavior, and social science methodology.
