Her pedagogical experience spans multiple countries, including the Czech Republic, the United States, Hungary and Austria. Her publications have appeared in many international journals, such as Contemporary Literature or European Journal of Women's Studies. Most recently, Věra has published a book chapter, "The Mobile Imagination in European Women’s Writing of Modernism and its Contemporary Resonances," in Times of Mobility: Transnational Literature and Gender in Translation, published by CEU Press in 2020. Currently, Věra is working on her contribution to the planned publication on transnational European women writers as part of the CEU's EUTERPE (European Literatures and Gender from a Transnational Perspective) project.
