    Research interests

    Sarah Ganty is a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLouvain (Louvain-la-Neuve) and a Research Affiliate at CEU Democracy Institute (Budapest). She is also a researcher at Yale Law School, where she is completing her second doctorate. Last year, she was a Visiting Professor at Hong Kong University and a Research Visitor at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights at Oxford University.

    Dr. Ganty’s research spans immigration law, social justice, antidiscrimination law, EU law and citizenship law. Her first book (Larcier) offers a critical analysis of the concept of “migrants’ integration” in EU law. Her scholarship has been featured in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Human Rights Law Review,  European Journal of Risk Regulation, the Columbia Journal of European Law and Yale Journal of International Law Online.

    Currently, she is exploring the concept of merit in law and its role in shaping the distribution of public, economic, and social goods.
