Research interests
Francesco Lotito is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Network and Data Science. He earned his Ph.D. in 2025 and his Master’s degree in 2021 from the University of Trento (Italy). His current research focuses on developing measures and computational tools to characterize the structural properties of real-world networks with higher-order interactions. In particular, he is interested in designing efficient algorithms for hypergraph mining problems. He also maintains Hypergraphx, an established open-source library for hypergraph analysis.
