Born and raised in the United States as the son of first-generation Hungarian immigrants, he has lived and worked in Hungary as a teacher of English for the last 25 years. His activities have given him the opportunity to work extensively with secondary school and university students, as well as adults, in a variety of professional settings. The central aim of his work as a native speaker has always been to facilitate face-to-face communication, helping his students develop their speaking skills and increase their confidence in using the language. He has found that once participants in his sessions feel comfortable expressing themselves, they can begin using the language as a tool for exploring and analyzing the world around them. It is a privilege for him to be part of this process, but also an adventure that leads far beyond the language itself.
