    Márton Karsai, DSc, PhD, HDR, is Professor of Network Science and Head of the Department of Network and Data Science at Central European University, Research Professor at the Rényi Institute of Mathematics (Hungary), and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Advances in Complex Systems (World Scientific). His research interests lie in human dynamics, computational social science, and data science, with a particular focus on heterogeneous temporal dynamics, spatial and temporal networks, socioeconomic systems, and social contagion phenomena. His expertise includes the analysis of large-scale human interaction datasets and the development of data-driven models of diverse social processes.
