Research interests
Marton is a lawyer with a keen interest in the regulation of biomedical technologies. His work focuses, in particular, on the ability of legal regulation to accommodate the ethical, the human rights, the commercial, the policy and the governance considerations which may arise in diverse and multi-layered regimes, such as the European Union. He has a background in EU law, European human rights law, and comparative (public) law. Marton has worked as part of the CELAB team in REMEDiE, NERRI and EUCellLEX. His most recent publication (with Judit Sándor) is Creating European markets through regulation: the case of the Regulation on Advanced Therapies (European Law Review 2016/1).
