    Research interests

    Miklosy, Katalin has been teaching English and ELT methodology with great enthusiasm, first at the Centre for English Teacher Training and later at the Training School of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. She is also keen on teaching English and Hungarian civilisation and culture. The courses she currently teaches include Academic English, Improving Listening Skills, and Vocabulary Building. Her further field of interest lies in teaching Hungarian as a foreign language.

    Her teaching philosophy is grounded in looking for the best in students and doing whatever is necessary to help them perform to their fullest potential. She especially enjoys teaching in the Roma Graduate Preparation Program, where the highly motivated, ambitious, and capable students, together with the lively, vibrant, multicultural environment, create a particularly rewarding challenge.
