Research interests
Prof. Timar’s research interests include literature and queer theory, sexuality, literary theory, deconstruction, performativity, embodiment and political philosophy, feminist new materialism and biodeconstruction. She teaches courses on queer theory, performativity, affect theory and feminist theory. Her current work primarily focuses on the feminist new materialism, affect theory and deconstruction.
