    Research interests

    Dorjana Bojanovska Popovska is a postdoctoral researcher at the CEU Democracy Institute. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of law, religion, and illiberalism. She holds an SJD in Comparative Constitutional Law (CEU, 2022, summa cum laude), an LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law (CEU, 2017), and an LL.M. in Constitutional Law (Iustinianus Primus, Skopje, 2014). She is an alumna of the ICLRS Young Scholars Fellowship on Religion and the Rule of Law and has been a visiting scholar at the Department of Law, University of Milan (2019), and the Europa Institute, Leiden Law School (2017). Dorjana has taught and lectured at universities across Europe, including CEU (Budapest and Vienna), Bard College Berlin, the University of Milan, the University of Bologna, and Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.
