    Research interests

    Dominik Brenner is a political economist and visiting faculty at the Department of Political Science and the Department of International Relations at Central European University. He defended his PhD in Political Economy at CEU in 2022 and held visiting research positions at Sciences Po Paris (CEE) and the European University Institute in Florence. His research interests include financial supervision, European financial integration,  legislative favoritism, regulatory predictability, political oversight mechanisms, and good governance mechanisms.

    Dominik's dissertation focused on the internationalization of non-bank finance in the EU27 and its effects on supervisory delegation to the supranational level (grade: unconditional pass). His further research focused on legislative politics and good governance indicators.
