During the workshop, each student is required to present a draft of an analytical research chapter, together with the provisional table of contents of the thesis, which will help clarify the function of that chapter in the thesis. Please note that this is a writing workshop. This means that everyone reads all the chapters and gives feedback during all sessions of the group. In this way, students contribute to the work of their peers and receive constructive questions and suggestions, which helps them to develop the chapter and the thesis further. Also, attentive reading of colleagues' drafts is a useful exercise, as it helps us to think about how to structure a chapter, how to use evidence, and how to construct an argument. In addition, it is an excellent opportunity to learn about all the interesting work-in-progress of peer students.
