Providing both conceptual and hands-on experience, this course focuses on critical arts practice, from project conception to post-production. Students analyze and experience various forms and genres of these modes and, through course assignments, create short works in each, applying a specific concept, style and theme. During classes, students receive feedback from instructors and peers, learning to improve their work based on critique and to offer effective critique themselves.
