The course is designed for doctoral researchers who are in the early steps of their process, to acquaint them with the basic principles of research design, methods data collection and analysis that might be relevant to their research projects. It can also provide useful background for those who may never conduct their own empirical study but will have reason to refer to such studies in their scholarship or policy work.
