It will provide them with an overview how to look at - for instance - a handwritten text, to know where to start from, how to decide the order of lines in a calligraphic piece, etc. It will also help them to look at each sentence according to the classical grammatical structure, which differs a lot from the modern one. At the end of the term, they should be able to read and understand these types of texts, moving step by step.
