https://at-ceu.studyguide.timeedit.net/modules/DSPS6594?type=COREThis course aims to provide a space for discussing the work of political scientists, its purpose, strengths and limitations. Our discussion will be organized around four themes: The discipline, including its evolution and the forces that have been shaping it, micro- and macro-approaches as paradigms, some current debates around measurement, and the major types of explanations political scientists have at their disposal. The course is designed to encourage reflection on these issues through your own PhD research, as well as the examples included in the syllabus.
