During the course, except for the dominant framework formulated from the viewpoint of the industrialized countries, perspectives from non-western countries and world regions are also discussed. In the second part of the course, we discuss money, currency and financial crisis, development, inequality, and other issues and their impact on the global economy. We also consider the revival of China, and finally, we discuss the implications of the new policies introduced by the current American administration.
