The class starts with setting up a cloud server with a developer environment installed for remote server management and programming, then deploying real-world examples of batch business rules remotely, then implementing API endpoints serving synchronous requests. We will also cover some related data processing and database technologies outside of R and Python: how they can be used for solving a variety of problems and how to connect to these in a programmatic way.
