The purpose of the project is to use the spectrum of knowledge and skills students have acquired in their studies in a professional setting. The three project deliverables (detailed project report, presentation of 10-15 slides, and public summary) constitute the diploma work students are supposed to submit at the end of the academic year. See details on the project deliverables in the Capstone Regulation Document.The course helps students in choosing a capstone project topic of their interest and develop the project in accordance with requirements and project objectives set by the client organization. The three major steps of the work process are: 1) identifying a project, 2) preparing an interim progress report, 3) preparing three outcome documents. The course aims at helping students in each of the three stages of the work process.
