It will be most appropriate for those who are in the one-year Master's degree program or else in the second year of the two-year Master's degree program. The primary aim of the seminar is to learn how to craft an advanced research essay of 4000-5000 words and then to do so. The essay might serve as a writing sample for PhD applications or simply be a means to practice and improve one's ability to write longer philosophical essays.
